Toast of the Town

Project MEND provides compassionate solutions to life's unexpected health challenges. Through our programming, we provide refurbished medical equipment to individuals living with disabilities and life-altering illness, allowing for the greatest chance at rehabilitation or better management of a diagnosis. Late Commissioner Paul Elizondo was a firm believer in our mission and instrumental in securing funding from Bexar County for the construction of our new state-of-the-art location in San Antonio for medical equipment reuse. Through Paul's legacy and his belief in universal mobility, Project MEND will continue providing its crucial services to individuals in need.

 
Toast of the Town is Project MEND's signature event honoring a community member or agency dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities. Project MEND is humbled to honor the late Commissioner, Paul Elizondo, for his lifetime commitment to the people of Bexar County and firm belief in the mission of Project MEND. Through his legacy, we are fulfilling a critical need in our community.
